Job Summary:

Career Strategies is seeking a detail-oriented Orthodontic Biller to manage insurance claims, patient billing, and accounts receivable for orthodontic services. This role is responsible for processing claims, verifying insurance benefits, and ensuring accurate and timely reimbursements. The ideal candidate will have experience in dental or orthodontic billing, a strong understanding of insurance procedures, and excellent customer service skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Submit and track insurance claims for orthodontic treatments, including braces, retainers, and other procedures.
• Verify patients’ orthodontic insurance benefits, eligibility, and coverage details.
• Process prior authorizations and communicate with insurance companies to ensure approvals.
• Post payments, adjustments, and denials from insurance companies and patients.
• Resolve claim denials and follow up on outstanding insurance balances to maximize collections.
• Prepare and send patient billing statements, explain payment plans, and collect outstanding balances.
• Maintain accurate financial records and update patient accounts in the practice management system.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and insurance guidelines.
• Communicate with patients regarding insurance coverage, financial responsibilities, and billing inquiries.
• Work closely with the front office and clinical team to ensure seamless patient financial processes.
