Compensation:

• Hourly Rate: $47-$50 (Depending on Experience)
• Per Diem: $125
• Pay: Weekly

Schedule:

• Hours: Monday - Saturday, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM (60+ hours per week)

Project Scope:
Oversight of outage work at a cement facility, including the replacement of conveyors and mechanical installations. The role involves managing safety in confined spaces, excavation zones, fall protection, and ensuring compliance with industrial hygiene (IH) standards.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of safety management experience in industrial or construction settings.
• 4-year degree in engineering, construction, or health and safety-related field (preferred).
• Required certifications: OSHA 510, MSHA Part 46, First Aid/CPR.
• Preferred certifications: CSP or CIH.
• Must be bilingual (Spanish-speaking).
• Familiarity with OSHA, MSHA, and DOT compliance standards.
• Experience with contractor management and prequalification programs.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

• Conduct project safety inspections and enforce safety protocols for confined spaces, fall protection, and excavation activities.
• Monitor contractor work and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Provide training, guidance, and support to on-site personnel.
• Manage safety-related documentation and coordinate with contractors.
• Perform additional environmental, health, and safety (EHS) duties as needed within your expertise.

Skills:

• Strong understanding of EHS and regulatory standards in construction and industrial safety.
• Excellent communication and public speaking abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of multitasking.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Knowledge:
Comprehensive knowledge of OSHA, MSHA, and other industry regulatory standards.
