Title: SAP BTP/CPI Architect

Location: Remote w/25% travel to Tampa, FL

Duration: Long-term Contract

Technical Skills, Tasks and Responsibilities

Architecture, and Solution design:

• Analysis of Integration requirements of our IT solutions together with internal customers and IT colleagues
• Support & influence SAP integration, API and data flow architectures , considering API first approach .
• Identify processing & performance optimization opportunities.
• Proactive evaluation of new SAP features in Integration Suite, e.g., Integration advisor , Trading Partner management.
• Understanding of SAP functional areas and overall SAP architecture .

Subject matter expertise in SAP integration:

• Strong expertise in designing and implementing complex integration scenarios, including experience with various integration patterns and protocols using SAP BTP Integration Suite.
• Deep understanding of pre-packaged integration content and effective use of the same .
• Proven expertise in developing Enterprise-Grade , robust Iflows for SAP , non-SAP systems in A2A and B2B for both asynchronous and synchronous communication.
• Proficiency in implementing Integration patterns like Content based routing , Scatter-Gather , Splitter .
• Expertise in Integration scenarios using different adapters such as IDOC, JDBC, File, SOAP, Rest, Odata , Graph, etc.
• Expertise in using various kinds of mapping such as message mapping , XLST mapping and mapping using groovy scripts.
• Expertise in exception handling mechanisms for Integration flows .
• Deep understanding of Quality of service concepts such as Guaranteed Delivery , retry mechanism , Idempotent Receiver and so on .
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex integration issues, ensuring the stability and performance of integration solutions.
• Proficiency in integration message monitoring and logging .
• Good understanding of Adapter inbound and outbound security configurations .
• Usage of Transport management system in Integration Suite .
• Expertise in Groovy scripts .
• Experience with IS-API management including topics like creating API providers , API s , policies, and API Products .
• Have in-depth understanding of API Authorization and Authentication , access control , and other policies.
• Experience with implementing event driven integrations using event Mesh technology .
• Knowledge on Integration Advisor , Integration Advisory methodology , trading partner management .

Experience:

• At least 12 years of experience in SAP middleware integration area including 4-5 years in SAP Integration Suite .
• Experience in at least 4 Integration Implementation projects using SAP Integration Suite .
• Experience in leading upgrade and migration projects with a focus on SAP Cloud Integration .
• Comfortable in creating an integration design blueprint for complex projects.
• SAP Certification is a plus.
• Experience with leading teams is a plus.

Non-Technical Skills:

• Excellent communication skills / experience with customer facing position roles.
• Must possess the ability to collaborate remotely with the functional teams in various tech centres .
• Must be a self-starter, capable of working with very little supervision.
• Must be capable of taking initiative and be proactive, with a firm understanding of the final goal to be achieved.
• Must not only be an excellent team player, but also show willingness to take over the lead.
• Experience with Service Management, especially dealing with external service providers is a plus.
