Job Title : SAP Basis Developer (US Citizens Only)
Location : Remote
We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications:
Key Responsibilities - Install, configure, and maintain SAP applications, including SAP NetWeaver, S/4HANA, and other SAP modules.
- Perform system upgrades, patches, and updates for SAP components (e.g., ECC, BW, SCM, etc.).
- Manage and monitor the SAP landscape, including application servers, database servers, and transport management.
- Analyze and tune SAP system performance, ensuring scalability, stability, and availability.
- Monitor system logs, alerts, and KPIs to proactively identify and resolve performance bottlenecks.
- Implement and maintain SAP security policies, user roles, and authorizations.
- Manage transport requests, system access, and integration security.
- Set up and maintain SAP backup and disaster recovery solutions.
- Ensure SAP systems are backed up and recovery processes are tested regularly.
- Provide 2nd and 3rd level support for SAP technical issues, including system failures, database issues, and application errors.
- Collaborate with SAP support and development teams to resolve complex technical issues.
- Oversee SAP system refreshes, migrations, and system copies.
- Manage the SAP Transport Management System (TMS) and ensure smooth transports across different landscapes (e.g., DEV, QA, PROD).
- Create and maintain technical documentation for SAP systems, including installation guides, procedures, and best practices.
- Generate reports on system health, performance metrics, and troubleshooting activities.
Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum of [X] years of experience in SAP Basis administration and support.
- Hands-on experience with SAP installation, system upgrades, patching, and migrations.
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA, SAP Fiori, and SAP Cloud solutions is a plus.
- In-depth knowledge of SAP NetWeaver, SAP HANA, SAP Basis components, and SAP infrastructure.
- Strong expertise in managing SAP databases (Oracle, HANA, SQL Server).
- Experience with SAP Transport Management System (TMS) and Landscape Management (LMDB).
- with monitoring tools like Solution Manager, SAP EarlyWatch Alert, or similar.
- Understanding of operating systems (Linux, Unix, Windows) in an SAP environment.
- SAP certifications in Basis or related areas (e.g., SAP Certified Technology Associate - SAP HANA) are a plus.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical teams.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with cloud-based SAP solutions (SAP Cloud Platform, AWS, Azure).
- Experience with automation tools and scripting (e.g., Python, Shell scripts).
- Knowledge of ITIL processes and best practices in SAP environment management.
- Federal Experience is a plus.
- Required Security clearance.
