Join the CritiCare team as a School Nurse and make a difference in your community! CritiCare has several openings for nurses (LPNs and/or RNs) to provide care and nursing services in schools, to students/clients in surrounding counties. As a School Nurse at CritiCare Home Health and Nursing Services, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment while providing essential healthcare services to students in schools.
A School Nurse is responsible for assessing and managing students' healthcare needs, and this is a unique opportunity for a nurse looking for a role with flexible hours. We understand the importance of work-life balance and are committed to providing our employees with a supportive and inclusive working environment. We work closely with our nurses to choose the best assignment. Our assignments include assisting children with medical conditions on transport to/from school daily, providing area schools with substitute school nurses, providing one-to-one care for children in schools, and accompanying students on field trips, sports events, and dances. An essential part of this position is collaborating with teachers, parents, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
New to school nursing or clinical pediatric care? No worries. We have you covered. CritiCare's s on-site nursing team will educate you and give you the support you need to succeed as an LPN / RN in our School Nursing Services Division. We hire Registered Nurses (RN) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) who are new graduates, experienced nurses, retired nurses, and/or nurses looking for the opportunity to diversify their skills. *All qualified candidates will be considered!* We take an individualized approach to job placement and only place a nurse in a position within their scope of skills. Entry-level applicants and retirees are encouraged to apply!
Qualified candidates will have a current nursing license, strong communication and organizational skills, and the ability to work independently.

Current PA LPN or RN license
CPR certification
