Description:
Birch Agency is seeking a School Social Worker to join a school-based team in Mason, Michigan for the remainder of the current school year. This full-time position offers an opportunity to support students social, emotional, and behavioral needs in a collaborative educational setting.
Responsibilities:
Provide individual and group counseling services to students
Support social-emotional learning and behavior intervention plans
Collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, and support staff
Participate in IEP and student support team meetings
Maintain documentation and compliance with state and federal guidelines
Qualifications:
Valid Michigan School Social Worker license or certification
Previous school-based experience preferred
Strong communication, collaboration, and case management skills
Ability to support students with diverse social-emotional and behavioral needs
