If so, our Harvester Operator position is the job for you! Our Harvester Operators are responsible for driving equipment from field to field, and harvesting fresh product as instructed by Leads or Supervisors. Responsible for the maintenance of the equipment that is assigned such as checking oil, fuel, coolant, tires, lights, guards, windows and mirrors- may also be asked to assist with minor repairs as needed. Be alert to; rocks, weeds, debris, obstacles, or any unusual conditions. Keep harvester cabs, mirrors and windows clean.   Willing to train, no experience necessary! Must be able to safely perform all job duties and adhere to company safety rules & policies. "Job Summary" The goal is to ensure that production procedures are carried out efficiently and smoothly to maximize crop yields. On-the-job training to learn the job correctly and safely. Willingness to learn and improve. Being a team member is essential since all tasks require close collaboration with co-workers. "Responsibilities" *Set-up and Safety Check of Combine Machine (calibration, cleaning, etc. ) to start a production cycle *Control and adjust machine settings (e.g. Speed) *Test operation of machines periodically *Assist mechanics with fixing issues that might occur during the shift *Check output to spot any machine-related mistakes or flaws *Maintain activity logs "Requirements" *Understanding of production and operating procedures *Adherence to Health and Safety regulations (e.g. use of protective gear) *Attention to detail *Teamwork and communication skills *Physical stamina and strength necessary to perform the job *Valid driver's license   Type:  Temporary/Seasonal Pay:  $0.00 to $18.00 per HOUR   Apply online or in person at 101 Depot St. Weston, OR 97886       Lakeside Foods and our family of companies welcomes people of all backgrounds and the varied ideas they bring to the workplace.
