About Bastion

Bastion enables financial institutions and enterprises to issue regulated stablecoins, generate revenue on reserves, and expand their ecosystems. Bastion’s platform combines stablecoin issuance, secure custody, and seamless orchestration for cross-border transfers, on/off-ramps, and stablecoin conversions. With Bastion’s platform and APIs, businesses can create and scale their stablecoin network, while optimizing revenue, compliance, and control.

Responsibilities 

• Architect, design, and implement security measures into the Bastion infrastructure across all backend and frontend services. 

• Build resilient security services and infrastructure operating within the Bastion platform. Define, socialize, and uphold the Bastion threat model and security posture across all surfaces of the platform. 

• Ensure customers are kept safe by implementing monitoring, analysis, and incident response measures. 

• Educate and train the broader Bastion team on security best practices to keep the organization safe. 

• Lead and orchestrate third-party security audits of the Bastion codebase and infrastructure, including ensuring the delivery of reports suitable for customer consumption. 

• The option to work from home 1-2 days a week is available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering or a related field.

• 2 years of professional experience in Infrastructure Security.

• Requires knowledge of the following skills: Python, TypeScript/JavaScript, Java, or Golang; Web3 security; and Applied cryptography.

Compensation

$175K – $230K • Offers Equity

Actual compensation is unique to each candidate and based on a variety of factors such as skill set, experience, and specific work location. Salary is one part of Bastion’s total compensation and benefits package.
