Job Description

Self-Publishing Assistant – Entry-Level Role Using AI Tools, No Degree Required

Position Summary

A remote-first digital publishing team is hiring Self-Publishing Assistants to help produce nonfiction Kindle books using AI-supported workflows and structured content templates. This fully remote role is ideal for individuals with no degree, no writing experience, and no background in publishing , but who want to build royalty-based income from home.

As a Self-Publishing Assistant, you won’t be responsible for writing books from scratch. Instead, you’ll follow a structured process to research book topics, guide content creation with AI tools like ChatGPT, format manuscripts using Kindle-specific layouts, and publish them through Amazon Kindle Direct Publishing (KDP). Once live, your books remain active and continue earning monthly royalties indefinitely.

This position is not freelance, not client-facing, and not a creative writing job—it’s about implementing a proven publishing system using tools, templates, and checklists to build profitable nonfiction eBooks.

Key Responsibilities

You’ll manage each book project through five distinct phases, using included resources and guided workflows.

1. Topic Discovery and Validation

Select nonfiction topics with commercial demand based on built-in research tools

Use Amazon Best Seller Rank (BSR) analysis to evaluate competition

Choose high-potential book ideas from a provided topic database or validate new concepts using proprietary criteria

Record selections in your project log to monitor performance trends

All niche selection is based on reader data, not creative brainstorming.

2. AI-Enhanced Content Creation

Use prompt templates with ChatGPT or a similar AI tool to generate your book draft

Apply fill-in-the-blank chapter outlines to maintain structure and flow

Organize content into 3,000–7,000 word manuscripts, depending on topic

Edit AI-generated output using included readability and clarity checklists

Eliminate duplicate, unclear, or off-topic content using guided review processes

The entire content creation system is plug-and-play and optimized for efficiency.

3. Formatting for Kindle Publishing

Format manuscripts using Kindle Riches-approved document layouts

Apply standard spacing, header structure, and chapter breaks

Insert legal pages, tables of contents, and author blurbs using included modules

Prepare manuscripts for upload using formatting checklists and export instructions

No design or layout experience is necessary. Templates are built for easy adoption.

4. Metadata, Packaging, and Cover Design

Write keyword-optimized titles, subtitles, and book descriptions using conversion-tested formulas

Select backend keywords and Amazon categories based on the book’s niche

Design your cover using Canva and ready-made templates

Assemble your files and metadata using a packaging checklist to ensure nothing is missed

The goal is to maximize visibility and discoverability inside Amazon’s ecosystem.

5. Upload and Launch Process

Upload final files to Amazon KDP

Use the previewer to validate formatting and content accuracy

Complete the upload sequence with confidence using field-by-field instructions

Execute a simple launch strategy with a prewritten press release

Monitor royalty performance and scale up by repeating the system

Each launch becomes a building block in your personal publishing catalog.

What’s Provided

As a Self-Publishing Assistant, you’ll receive access to the Kindle Riches publishing system, including:

AI prompt libraries for content creation

Niche validation tools and keyword research sheets

Nonfiction book outline templates

Kindle formatting guides and document layouts

Metadata, title, and subtitle optimization formulas

Cover design templates for use with free tools

Upload walkthroughs and publishing checklists

Royalty tracker spreadsheets and book performance dashboards

No outside software or technical expertise is required.

Compensation

You’ll earn royalties through Amazon Kindle’s platform. Income is generated through book sales and Kindle Unlimited reads, with royalties paid monthly.

Estimated income potential:

1 published book: $50–$200/month

3–5 published books: $300–$1,000/month

10+ published books: $2,000+/month depending on output and optimization

Books remain live indefinitely, so royalty income compounds over time.

Ideal Candidates

This role is best suited for:

Remote job seekers with no prior experience

Freelancers tired of one-time client work

Stay-at-home professionals or part-time earners

Digital content creators exploring new income streams

Individuals comfortable following structured instructions and using AI tools

If you're organized, reliable, and excited about building passive income without traditional employment constraints, this opportunity is built for you.

Requirements

A computer or laptop with internet access

Comfort using word processors (Google Docs, Word)

Ability to follow checklists and work independently

Willingness to use AI tools for structured content production

No prior experience or creative writing ability required

How to Get Started

Click Learn More to begin. You’ll receive access to the Kindle Riches publishing system and everything you need to produce your first book. You’ll build a digital asset that continues paying long after it's launched—without needing to write it from scratch or rely on traditional employment paths.
