We are a fast-growing Metro-Denver CPA Firm seeking a CPA Senior Accountant to help lead our tax practice division. Our team is professional, hard-working, and fun-loving, and we’re looking for a like-minded individual to join our growth-oriented company. This hybrid position offers flexibility, allowing you the option to work from home with occasional office days.

What You’ll Do

• Prepare federal and state income tax returns for businesses and individuals using Ultra Tax software
• Maintain financial accounting records, including journal entries, reconciliations, and prepare work-papers
• Prepare and maintain depreciation schedules
• Train and assist clients with QuickBooks (online and desktop versions)
• Prepare and review payroll, sales, and use tax returns
• Handle additional tax and accounting-related assignments as directed by your supervisor

What You Bring:

• A bachelor’s or advanced degree in business/accounting
• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in federal and multi-state income taxation (an advanced degree in taxation is a plus)
• Active CPA or EA designation
• Knowledge of QuickBooks (preferred) and a thorough understanding of federal and multi-state tax laws
• Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills, with an entrepreneurial mindset
