Full Job Description We are seeking a skilled and experienced Brick Mason to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in masonry work, including bricklaying, stone setting, and concrete finishing. As a Mason, you will be responsible for constructing, repairing, and maintaining various structures and surfaces.
Who We Are The Gardeners Landscape is a premier landscape contracting firm with over 35 years of experience, specializing in creating stunning outdoor living spaces throughout Metro West Boston, Southeastern Massachusetts, the South Shore, and Cape Cod. We offer comprehensive design, build, and maintenance services for both commercial and residential properties, with a strong focus on irrigation, landscape lighting, lawn care, and snow removal. As a progressive, turn-key operation, we are dedicated to staying at the forefront of green trends and irrigation standards, while maintaining strong relationships with independent homeowners, contractors, municipalities, and commercial clients.
Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To - Lay bricks, stones, and concrete blocks to construct or repair walls, partitions, arches, and other structures.
- Strong understanding of different types of mortars
- Cut and shape materials to fit specific measurements using hand and power tools.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements.
- Ensure the structural integrity and aesthetic quality of masonry work.
- Repair and restore existing masonry structures.
- Collaborate with other construction professionals to complete projects on time and within budget.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Qualification - Proven experience as a Mason or similar role.
- Proficiency in using masonry tools and equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and precision in work.
- Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Required Certifications:
- OSHA 10-Hour Construction Safety and Health Certification
- Preferred Experience Level:
- Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience in masonry work

- Monday to Friday 7:00 am - 4:00 pm
Work Location: - In Person
- Metro West Boston and Southeastern Massachusetts including the South Shore and Cape Cod.
