Job Description
Description We are looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to join our team in Irvine, California. In this role, you will leverage your expertise to drive financial planning, analysis, and reporting that supports strategic business objectives. This position offers the opportunity to collaborate across departments, guide less experienced analysts, and contribute to the organization's financial growth and compliance.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain comprehensive financial models to analyze trends and identify opportunities for business improvement.
- Prepare detailed financial reports, forecasts, and budgets, ensuring accurate communication of insights to management.
- Support strategic decision-making by delivering actionable financial recommendations and insights.
- Monitor and evaluate key performance indicators to assess financial results against established benchmarks and goals.
- Ensure adherence to financial regulations and company policies to maintain compliance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial guidance and support various business initiatives.
- Guide less experienced analysts by offering support and fostering their growth and development.
- Conduct variance analysis to identify discrepancies and propose corrective measures.
- Utilize advanced data mining techniques to analyze large datasets and derive meaningful conclusions.
- Manage and optimize capital resources and budgeting processes to support organizational objectives. Requirements - Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial analysis, modeling, and forecasting.
- Proficiency in accounting software systems, CRM platforms, and financial tools such as Excel and Crystal Reports.
- Strong ability to analyze large datasets, identify trends, and synthesize insights.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills to address complex financial issues and recommend solutions.
- Advanced knowledge of accrual accounting, auditing practices, and budget management processes.
- Solid understanding of business principles and the impact of financial decisions on organizational success.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for presenting financial information effectively.
- Experience with capital management and adherence to financial compliance standards.
