Job Description

Salary: $92,690 - 139,040 per year Requirements:

• Bachelors degree with 14 years of relevant experience or a Masters degree with 12 years of relevant experience.
• Over 8 years of direct systems engineering experience on missile, rocket, or other high-performance defense projects, including defining, verifying, and validating system requirements.
• A minimum of 4 years in a leadership or architectural position, accountable for defining system architecture and facilitating integration with system interface definition, verification, and validation.
• Proficiency in developing and managing Systems Engineering Management Plans across all phases of the Systems Engineering V.
• Skill in Model-Based System Engineering and familiarity with MBSE Tools.
• Hold an active Government DoD Secret security clearance, adjudicated within the past 5 years, with the capability to be cleared for SAP (Special Access Programs).

• Validate that the program is developing the correct missile system as per program stakeholders requirements.
• Maintain system design integrity by adhering to external developmental constraints not outlined in the Statement of Objectives or System Performance Specification.
• Create and uphold the comprehensive missile system architecture, covering all internal and external system interfaces.
• Oversee and review all system and subsystem interfaces, missile electrical architecture, and missile logical architecture and design.
• Take ownership of the Security Systems Engineering design and execution throughout all phases of the missile system lifecycle.
• Review system design through peer evaluations of design and test documentation, as well as design reviews.
• Facilitate effective communication regarding the technical design of the SiAW missile systems to both internal and external program stakeholders.
• Manage the SiAW technical roadmap to guide future capabilities and system enhancements.
