Job Description

Ensures that guests in the Spa enjoy an experience that meets The Setai’s standards of excellence in guest service and quality.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Exemplifies commitment to The Setai’s mission of Total Guest Satisfaction
Consistently offer professional, friendly, and warm hospitality to all guests
Ensures that all the guest’s needs are met in the Locker Rooms; including but not limited to, providing a locker, explaining the operation of the locker, providing robe and slippers, providing towels, providing vanity items, etc.
Explains the facilities and Spam procedures to first-time guests
Maintains cleanliness and safety of all Locker areas, including sauna, steam bath, whirlpool, and common area.
Monitors and restocks vanity area
Empties towel baskets and trashcans in the Locker whenever half-full
Maintains cleanliness and safety of the Gym
Escorts guests to the treatment room when directed
Assist therapists with setup/cleanup when directed
Maintains knowledge of all Spa facilities, treatments offered, rates, and hours of operation
Maintains familiarity with other Hotel facilities and hours
Attends daily briefings, meetings, and training as required
Reports to work at the scheduled time, neatly groomed and in the correct uniform

Pleasant telephone voice and appearance
Strong knowledge of spa facilities and treatments
Ability to focus on details
Ability to handle a fast-paced environment
Ability to work in a team environment
Ability and willingness to work flexible hours
Compliance with attendance guidelines outlined in The Setai Employee Handbook
Must possess or be able to obtain CPR and First Aid certification within 30 days of hire

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Able to perform all essential duties with or without accommodation including:

the ability to lift weights up to 30 lbs
the ability to move around the Spa and Locker areas for full shifts
