Job Title: SPD Service Technician

Job Summary:
We are looking for a hands-on, personable SPD Service Technician with strong experience in sterile processing and a knack for troubleshooting. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working directly with SPD teams, providing hands-on training, and traveling to different healthcare facilities to support their sterilization needs. The right candidate is mechanically inclined, comfortable with equipment maintenance, and passionate about improving sterile processing workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

• Travel to healthcare facilities to provide hands-on support and training for SPD staff.

• Assist with equipment troubleshooting, minor repairs, and routine maintenance to ensure optimal performance.

• Educate and train SPD teams on best practices, equipment usage, and workflow improvements.

• Build strong relationships with hospital staff to understand their needs and offer tailored solutions.

• Conduct assessments to ensure sterilization processes meet industry standards and regulations.

• Maintain clear documentation of service visits, training sessions, and equipment status.

• Provide feedback and recommendations to enhance efficiency and compliance within SPD departments.

Qualifications:

• Hands-on experience working in an SPD environment, with knowledge of sterilization techniques and infection control protocols.

• Mechanically inclined with the ability to troubleshoot and perform minor equipment repairs.

• Outgoing, personable, and able to build strong relationships with SPD and OR teams.

• Willingness to travel frequently and adapt to different healthcare facility environments.

• Strong communication skills with the ability to train and educate staff effectively.

• Certification as a Sterile Processing Technician (CRCST) or relevant technical experience preferred.
