**Become a part of our caring community and help us put health first** The Specialty Operations Pharmacy Technician 3 supports Pharmacists in Specialty Rx medication preparation by dispensing Specialty REMs medications such as Lenalidomide, Spravato and Sublocade. The Specialty Operations Pharmacy Technician 3 performs advanced administrative/operational/customer support duties that require independent initiative and judgment. This role may apply intermediate mathematical skills. **Location: Must reside in AZ, FL, OH or TX to work remotely** **Hours** **Training schedule** : Monday-Friday 8am-4:30 pm EST for 8 weeks (timeframe can vary) **Work schedule** : Can vary between the hours of 8:00am-8pm EST Monday-Friday. **Job Description** The Specialty Operations Pharmacy Technician 3 may contact physicians for prescriptions clarification and may enter prescription orders into the system. This role supports pharmacists and patients by ensuring adherence to Specialty Rx specific operational processes and programs developed to optimize health outcomes. This role includes effective communication with patients and providers. This role regularly exercises discretion and judgment in prioritizing requests and interpreting and adapting procedures, processes and techniques. The Specialty Operations Pharmacy Technician 3 works under limited guidance due to previous experience, breadth, and depth of knowledge of administrative processes and organizational knowledge. **Use your skills to make an impact** **ROLE REQUIREMENTS** : + Remote role - must live in the states of AZ, FL, OH, or TX and be licensed in the state you are working in. + Possesses active and current State Registration or Certification, as required by state law to perform this role. + National Certification: PTCB (CphT) or ExCPT + Minimum 2 years of Pharmacy Technician experience, including strong data entry. + Inbound and outbound call center experience + Strong attention to detail + Strong communication skills Travel: While this is a remote position, occasional travel to Humana's offices for training or meetings may be required. **Scheduled Weekly Hours** 40 **Pay Range** The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting.
