This Position Reports To Technical Consulting Manager II
In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead consulting assignments. Each day, you will contribute to the development of consultancy products and services. You will also showcase your expertise by participating in the creation of consulting business strategy.
The work model for the role is hybrid in Quincy, MA.
This role is contributing to the Electrification Services division in North America.
You Will Be Mainly Accountable For - Providing quotes based on the project one lines and specifications for the following: data col-lection, short circuit, equipment evaluation, coordination, arc flash, load flow, harmonic, and power quality analysis.
- Work to reduce costs and to improve the quality of delivery of service and projects
- Take a lead role to propose recommendations of services and/or products to meet the customer's needs.
- Provide technical support and guidance to the sales team on offer preparation.
- Developing relationships and actively maintaining a technical knowledge exchange with key technical contacts.
Job Qualifications - 10+ years of experience in engineering, with a major in electrical or computer engineering.
- Proficient in specific platforms such as Easy Power, SKM Power tools, ETAP, Aspen, and EMTP.
- PE, FE/EIT certification preferred
- Ability to travel domestically an estimated 25% of the time
- Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
