Responsibilities:
* Review drawings, prepare takeoffs, and create proposals.
* Estimate project engineering hours.
* Track outstanding proposals and aid in sales projections.
* Review revised project drawings for scope changes and prepare change orders.
* Communicate with clients regarding bid scope, due dates, etc.
* Additional responsibilities may include project coordination, shop drawing reviews, submittal preparation, etc., based on candidate's skills and experience.
Requirements:
* Relevant experience is a plus but not required.
* Knowledge of steel detailing, estimating, or steel fabrication is advantageous.
* High School diploma required; Associates degree or higher is a plus.
* Enthusiastic with a desire to succeed and develop technical skills.
* Strong attention to detail, logical problem-solving skills, and organizational abilities.
* Ability to work well in a team or independently.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Software skills with BlueBeam, Excel, and Trimble Connect are advantageous.
* Ability to read construction documents is a plus.
