Job Description

Talent Acquisition team has an exciting opportunity for a proactive, results oriented talent acquisition professional with experience supporting Engineering functions. If you enjoy collaborating directly with the decision makers in our business then this is the role you have been looking for. You ll work with other talented recruiting and sourcing professionals who demonstrate an in-depth industry knowledge to identify candidates to support some of our most critical programs. For us, sourcing and recruiting isn t just about taking orders, it s about having the vision and support to collaborate with the hiring teams to find the right talent at the right time. We re looking for a highly skilled senior recruiter. This fast paced position is on a fun, capable and very effective team. The ideal candidate for this role will be able to demonstrate excellent recruiting techniques and innovative ideas to lead to overall success of the business. * Position located in Jacksonville, FL or Norfolk, VA. Remote options on East Coast considered. In this role, you will: Work closely with other recruiters, hiring teams and business leaders to develop and implement recruiting strategies Identify and contact passive candidates Utilize the existing ATS and CRM systems as well as external databases Craft and send engaging and appealing recruiting communications to potential candidates Develop talent pipelines for future hiring needs Promote our employer brand Partner effectively with HR teammates when working compensation, compliance, onboarding, and other processes.

Skills Required

Proficient in using industry job boards, social media platforms, and candidate tracking systems (Kenexa/Brass Ring or comparable ATS). Demonstrated experience in an OFCCP compliant environment. Experience building recruiting plans. Experience supporting end to end recruiting process. Capable in adapting communication style to a myriad of client levels. Notable experience and proven examples as a driver of diversity, equity, and inclusion objectives. Experience supporting ship repair, ship building, and skilled trades. Skilled at partnering with colleagues to build effective recruiting, sourcing, assessment, and closing approaches with an ability to manage customer expectations. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
