Job Description

We are recruiting an experienced Tax Accountant for a CPA in Central Phoenix.
This role has a base salary of $80,000 - $105,000 depending on experience.

• Prepare and review individual, business, trust, and corporate tax returns
• Ensure accurate and timely filing of all tax documents
• Conduct tax planning and projections for clients or the organization
• Research and resolve tax issues, staying current with changing regulations
• Supervise, train, and mentor junior staff and interns
• Manage client relationships and serve as a key contact for tax matters
• Provide support during tax audits and interact with tax authorities as needed
• Identify tax-saving opportunities and make recommendations for business/process improvements
   

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (Master’s or CPA preferred)
• 3–5+ years of relevant experience in public accounting or tax
• Strong knowledge of federal and state tax regulations and accounting principles
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Proficiency with CCH Axcess Tax and ProSystem fx Tax.
