  • Bachelors degree in Food Technology, Food Engineering, Nutrition, or related field
  • 10+ years of experience in food technology, applications, technical sales, or product development
  • Strong technical expertise in dairy proteins and functional ingredients (e.g., proteins, hydrolysates, GOS/fibers)
  • Knowledge of Adult Nutrition In Performance and Active nutrition markets
  • Ability to combine scientific credibility with a commercial, customer-focused mindset
  • Strong communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills
  • Comfortable operating independently while collaborating across global teams
  • Willingness to travel approximately 30%

Vacancy description

Technical & Commercial Partnership

  • Provide first-line technical and application support to customers and sales teams
  • Translate customer needs into ingredient solutions, product concepts, and innovation opportunities
  • Prepare and participate in customer visits, offering expert guidance on formulations, specifications, and performance
  • Deliver technical presentations, trainings, and product education internally and externally

Growth & Innovation

  • Support the landing of new protein innovations and expansion of existing ingredients in the regional market
  • Actively contribute to the end-to-end innovation process by sharing market insights with Marketing, Product Management, and R&D
  • Help shape regional value propositions and train sales teams on technical and application benefits
  • Challenge incoming leads, generate new opportunities, and support pipeline development using value-based selling principles

Market & Knowledge Leadership

  • Monitor and interpret market trends, customer needs, competitor activity, and regulatory developments
  • Convert insights into actionable product, application, and innovation ideas
  • Serve as a regional knowledge hub and ensure learnings are shared with global teams

Stakeholder & Relationship Management

  • Build trusted relationships with key customer contacts
  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Applications, Regulatory, QA, Supply Chain, and global Technical Service teams
  • Ensure regional needs are represented in global application and innovation roadmaps
  • Track customer projects and opportunities using Salesforce
