Job Description

Performs blood specimen collection. Performs responsibilities with consideration for customers who may include: infants, children, adolescents, adults or geriatrics.

Performs computer data entry/log-in of specimens and computer related duties as needed.

Accepts other duties as assigned to promote the accomplishment of organizational goals.

The team member is accountable to demonstrate proficiency for the skills outlined in the appropriate position skills list.

The team member is accountable to maintain skill proficiency, including improvement where deemed necessary, and upgrading any additional or new skills on the appropriate position skills list.

Requirement description :

• 1+ Years of Experience in a Hospital Setting - Required
• NHA or ASCP Phlebotomy Certification - Required
• Experience with all Patient Populations - Required
• EPIC Experience - Required
• 1+ Years of Experience with Drawing Blood - Preferred

Profile Requirements:

• Work history
• Skills Checklist, current to 1 year, pertinent to the specialty
• 2 Supervisory References with dates employed listed
• If a candidate is not eligible to work in the USA, it must be noted on their profile
• ALL RTO requests must be included at the time of submittal, NMH may not honor RTO requests after submittal

CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS :

• BLS

ADDITIONAL LICENSE REQUIREMENTS :
Weekend Requirements : Every Other Weekend
On Call Requirements : No On Call
