Responsibilities and Duties 

  • Responsibilities  

    • Design and revamp training materials on technical topics 

    • Create educational videos and content about our software application and the industry we service 

    • Effectively work with subject matter experts to translate business needs into training content 

    • Master the Movemedical platform by understanding the product features, system workflows, and business context 

    • Coordinate virtual and in-person software training, including preparing data to support hands-on exercises 

    • Confidently deliver training classes to internal and external audiences 

    • Create assessments to evaluate skills and learning outcomes 

    • Research new innovations in both learning design and education 

      Day-to-day Activities  
      • Collaborate with customers and internal technical staff, including participating in discovery, training, documentation, and other project activities 

      • Create new training content (e-Learning, instructor-led training materials, work instructions, short-form video content) to assist in the continued growth of Movemedical's training courses, certification programs, and other offerings.

      • Own new hire onboarding and training.  

      • Help extend the onboarding program to assist department leads in better assessing employees' overall progress.  

      • Update and maintain all training material for external and internal distribution 

      • Manage administering and following up on required compliance training for all internal staff. 

      • Assess the feasibility of tasks, including providing a level of effort estimates for anticipated work 

      • Provide onsite and remote support to customers prior, during, and following go-live - this includes managing support calls/queries and documenting production bugs

      • Travel averaging 25% to work with customers in person domestically or internationally
 

Qualifications and Skills  

  • 2+ years of relevant work experience presenting to clients or training/educating adults in some capacity, preferably in tech or healthcare with a specific focus on software training .

  • Learning Theories & Principles – Knowledgeable about learning theories and principles such as A.D.D.I.E., action mapping, and Mayer's multimedia principles to create eLearning courses. 

  • Technology – Familiar with tools like… 

    • Articulate Rise 360 & Storyline 

    • Prezi & PowerPoint 

    • Camtasia 

    • Adobe Captivate, Illustrator & Photoshop  

    • LMS Systems 

  • Presentation – You carry yourself with a high level of confidence and professionalism when conducting standard and custom classes per customer requirements.  

  • Organization – You have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and pride yourself on the ability to meet deadlines 

  • Writing - You communicate technical information effectively to technical and non-technical audiences. 

  • Attitude - You are egoless/humble. You empathize with users. You care about overall team and project success.

At Movemedical, your base pay is one part of your total compensation package. The salary range is expected to be $60,000-$75,000 for this position and will vary based on your qualifications and job-related experience level.
