Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Surgical Day Care / PACU / Pre-Op

Location: Hyannis, MA

Contract Type: Travel Assignment

Duration: 13 Weeks (Potential for Extension)

Position Overview:

We are actively seeking an experienced Travel Registered Nurse (RN) with specialized expertise in Surgical Day Care, PACU, and Pre-Operative care. This assignment offers an exceptional opportunity to work at a top-tier healthcare facility in Hyannis, MA, providing compassionate and efficient care to both adult and pediatric surgical patients in a dynamic clinical environment.

Key Requirements:

• Active RN license in Massachusetts or compact state
• Minimum 2+ years of recent experience in Surgical Day Care, PACU, and Pre-Op
• Experience caring for pediatric patients is required
• ICU experience strongly preferred
• PALS certification required
• Previous travel nursing experience is a must
• BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA) preferred

Responsibilities:

• Provide safe, high-quality pre-operative and post-anesthesia care
• Monitor and manage recovery for pediatric and adult surgical patients
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals
• Flex between staggered shift start times based on assignment schedule
• Deliver consistent care in accordance with clinical protocols and best practices

Travel Pay Breakdown:

• Taxable: $30/hour | $1,035/week
• Stipend: $1,561/week
• Total Weekly Compensation: $2,596/week
• Equivalent Hourly Consolidated Rate: $75.25/hour
