TES is looking for dedicated tutors to provide personalized support in study skills, organization, ELA, math, and homework help. You'll work directly with the students of Wilton Rancheria Tribe, helping students grow academically while fostering self-confidence.

Your day could include one-on-one or small group sessions, guiding students through assignments, teaching problem-solving strategies, and encouraging better study habits. You may check in with your team lead for advice and support on providing more challenging material for your student who is excelling quicker than originally expected, or collaborate with one of our many specialists to learn more about handwriting, language acquisition, or other academic skills. Whether meeting students at school, working virtually, or participating in after-school programs, every moment is an opportunity to inspire young learners.

SALARY RANGE: $17 - $22.73/hr

*Salary range is contingent upon relatable experience, credentialing/certification, education, and use of a second language in your role (50% of the time).

As a Tutor at TES, you will:

• provide services including, but not limited to, one-on-one tutoring in the areas of English-language arts and mathematics and homework assistance to those at risk for not meeting grade-level performance.
• monitor and report progress to parents, teachers, program managers, and others involved in the academic success of the client.
• perform a variety of clerical duties related to tutoring services.

You will need the following minimum qualifications to be considered:

• experience working in a school, classroom, or after-school setting
• hold appropriate automobile insurance with limits that allow driving a personal vehicle for work (25/50k liability coverage)
• Must clear a current background check through the FBI and DOJ
• A current TB Test

Environment & Physical Qualifications: Assigned work environments vary from site to site and may require services in a distance learning/therapy model. The work environment usually comprises several adults and children in a classroom, clinic, or campus facility, with supervisors traveling to multiple sites/clinics. Due to varied work environments, an employee may encounter noise levels that are moderate to loud. In addition, the job functions could include the following physical demands: significant lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling; frequent stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling.
