Job Description

"We are seeking a Registered Nurse - Interventional Radiology for a 13-week travel/contract assignment in Rochester, New York . Both local and traveler candidates are welcome to apply."

Job Details:

Shift: D/E Rotate
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
Weekly Pay Rate: $2,800 $3,120

Responsibilities:

Provide pre-procedure, intra-procedure, and post-procedure nursing care for inpatients and outpatients undergoing interventional radiology procedures.
Administer moderate sedation and monitor patients' response during procedures.
Assist with Neurointerventional and other interventional radiology procedures as required.
Maintain patient safety by monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and responding to emergencies.
Collaborate with radiologists and the care team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Educate patients and families regarding procedures, aftercare, and follow-up.
Ensure compliance with all facility policies, procedures, and safety protocols.
Floating to other units may be required based on facility needs.

Requirements:

Active RN license in the state of New York or compact RN license.
Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in Neurointerventional and Interventional Radiology (IR) nursing.
AHA BLS and AHA ACLS certifications (required).
Moderate Sedation certification (required).
Experience with imaging-guided radiologic procedures.
Strong ability to multitask, communicate effectively, and work in a fast-paced environment.

Travel & Local Considerations:

Candidates outside a 75-mile radius qualify for travel pay.
