"We are seeking a Registered Nurse - Interventional Radiology for a 13-week travel/contract assignment in Rochester, New York . Both local and traveler candidates are welcome to apply."

Job Details:

• Shift: D/E Rotate

• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week

• Weekly Pay Rate: $2,800 $3,120

Responsibilities:

• Provide pre-procedure, intra-procedure, and post-procedure nursing care for inpatients and outpatients undergoing interventional radiology procedures.
• Administer moderate sedation and monitor patients' response during procedures.
• Assist with Neurointerventional and other interventional radiology procedures as required.
• Maintain patient safety by monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and responding to emergencies.
• Collaborate with radiologists and the care team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and families regarding procedures, aftercare, and follow-up.
• Ensure compliance with all facility policies, procedures, and safety protocols.
• Floating to other units may be required based on facility needs.

Requirements:

• Active RN license in the state of New York or compact RN license.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in Neurointerventional and Interventional Radiology (IR) nursing.
• AHA BLS and AHA ACLS certifications (required).
• Moderate Sedation certification (required).
• Experience with imaging-guided radiologic procedures.
• Strong ability to multitask, communicate effectively, and work in a fast-paced environment.

Travel & Local Considerations:

• Candidates outside a 75-mile radius qualify for travel pay.
