The Warehouse Associate is responsible for fulfilling customer orders by utilizing RF equipment to pick products and deliver them to the truck loading dock. This role involves verifying selected products and loading them onto the assigned truck or trailer. The position requires maintaining accuracy in all orders while meeting productivity standards, adhering to safety protocols, and operating Material Handling Equipment (MHE) safely.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Adhere to all safety rules and regulations, recognizing unsafe conditions and taking steps to address them. Report any unsafe conditions to management.
• Efficiently pick, verify, and load customer orders to ensure drivers can deliver products in acceptable condition.
• Obtain the necessary license to operate Material Handling Equipment (MHE), including passing written and practical tests as required by OSHA or other relevant regulations.
• Assemble and stack various products on pallets to ensure secure loading onto trucks or trailers for safe transport.
• Operate forklifts and other MHE as needed to complete order fulfillment tasks.
• Inspect MHE before use to ensure it is in proper working condition and safe to operate.
• Utilize RF equipment effectively to perform warehouse functions, such as picking and shipping orders.
