Job Description

Warehouse Receiving Associate

Location: Ann Arbor, MI Area
Schedule: Full Time, Monday–Friday; hours may vary.
Occasional weekends only for urgent inbound needs
Pay Range: $18.00 to $20.68 per hour

We are seeking a skilled Warehouse Receiving Associate to join a growing team in warehouse operations. This role combines advanced warehouse responsibilities with a strong focus on receiving inventory accuracy and cross-department support. Candidates who enjoy a fast-paced, hands-on environment and take pride in accuracy and problem-solving will be a great fit.

Key Responsibilities
Receiving and Inventory Control
  • Unload inbound shipments safely and verify accuracy, quantities, and product condition.
  • Match deliveries to purchase orders and fully receive POs using handheld devices or inventory systems.
  • Identify, document, and communicate discrepancies, damages, or overages.
  • Label, sort, and route received items to appropriate warehouse locations.
  • Maintain clean, safe, and organized receiving areas.
  • Support inventory integrity through cycle counts and discrepancy investigation.
Order Fulfillment and Shipping
  • Pull, pack, and prepare orders for domestic and international shipment.
  • Support pallet preparation, LTL shipments, and specialized packing needs.
  • Resolve problem orders and assist internal teams with order-related questions.
  • Use warehouse software to generate labels, track shipments, and process orders.
Warehouse Operations
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
  • Follow established opening and closing procedures, including occasional Saturday needs.
  • Assist with SKU maintenance, product issues, and inventory flow.
  • Maintain workspace cleanliness and uphold safety practices.
  • Participate in workflow improvements and process enhancements.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2 years of warehouse experience preferred.
  • Receiving or inventory control experience strongly preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand or move for extended periods.
  • Comfortable working in varied temperature environments.
  • Strong communication, attention to detail, and reliability.
  • Experience with handheld inventory devices or warehouse management systems.
