We are seeking an experienced Freelance Web Designer to translate complex marketing strategies into high converting digital experiences. We are currently scaling our work in the marina/boat dealer, senior living, and e-commerce sectors and need a designer who can solve the unique UX challenges these industries present, from high-ticket luxury inventory to empathetic, accessibility-first layouts. You will work with our development team, ensuring every design is modern, mobile-first, SEO and lead generation forward, and built for growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Design Responsive Layouts: Create modern, responsive website layouts exclusively in Figma for client projects, including home pages, landing pages, and internal pages.
Conversion-Focused Design: Develop polished visual designs that translate brand guidelines and content strategy into high converting experiences.
Accessibility & Standards: Ensure all designs are as ADA compliant (WCAG 2.2 Level AA) as reasonably feasible.
Collaboration: Partner asynchronous with internal teams, including SEO strategists and Web Developers, to ensure designs are feasible and accurately implemented.
Handoff & Documentation: Prepare organized design files and handoff documentation for the development team.
Required Qualifications:
Proven experience as a web designer working with marketing agencies or diverse client portfolios
A strong portfolio demonstrating modern, mobile first, and conversion-focused.
Expertise in Figma
A working knowledge of responsive design principles, UX/UI best practices, and the constraints of WordPress development.
