Job Description

Labor Finders of Austell is seeking an experienced cabinet maker. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, crafting, and assembling made-to-order cabinets for homes and businesses. This position requires precise measurements, skilled woodworking techniques, and the ability to interpret client design plans to create high-quality cabinetry that fits specific spaces and aesthetic needs. The cabinet maker will often also handle on-site installation, essentially crafting custom cabinets from start to finish and tailoring each piece to individual requirements.

Responsibilities:
- Take detailed measurements at client locations and interpret design plans to create accurate blueprints for cabinet construction.
- Select appropriate wood species, veneers, and finishes to align with client specifications and desired aesthetics.
- Assemble cabinet components carefully, ensuring proper alignment and fit while reinforcing joints for durability.
- Apply stains, paints, and protective finishes to cabinets according to design requirements.
- Install hinges, pulls, knobs, and other hardware on cabinets.
- Transport and install finished cabinets at the client's location, ensuring proper fit and functionality.

Skills:
- Proficient woodworking skills with a strong understanding of different wood types and their properties.
- Expertise in safely and accurately operating power tools.
- Excellent attention to detail and precision in measurements.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and design plans.
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
- Basic carpentry skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
