Position Overview
The Fire Sprinkler Designer is responsible for creating and developing fire sprinkler system designs in accordance with applicable codes and standards. This role aims to ensure the safety and compliance of fire protection systems in commercial and residential buildings.
Key Responsibilities

• Develop fire sprinkler system designs using AutoCAD and Revit software.
• Ensure designs comply with NFPA codes and local regulations.
• Conduct flow testing and hydraulic calculations to determine system requirements.
• Collaborate with architects and engineers to integrate sprinkler systems into building designs.
• Prepare and review shop drawings and submittals for approval.
• Coordinate with construction teams to ensure proper installation of fire sprinkler systems.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards and best practices.
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Fire Protection Engineering or related field preferred.
• NICET certification in Fire Protection is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of fire alarm and sprinkler system design principles.
• Proficient in 3D modeling software and Revit.
• Experience in commercial construction and fire protection systems.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
