Job Description

Shift Available:

A Shift: Monday-Wednesday, 6am-6pm

 

Purpose: Safely operate any assigned powered industrial trucks (PIT) such as forklifts, stand up order picker/ cherry picker as well as other powered equipment to move product around the
distribution center. Accurately process orders in and out of the distribution center.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Utilize powered equipment, pick and put away product efficiently and accurately, as assigned by supervisor
• Utilize computerized warehouse management systems (WMS) and radio frequency (RF) scanners to process all barcoded products
• Identify and communicate exceptions to the leadership team
• Follow all standard operating procedures (SOPs)
• Accurately record production by task and complete any necessary paperwork
• Ability to work overtime as needed
• Flexibility to train and work in multiple areas
• Work safely and maintain a clean work environment
• Other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Ability to attain an adidas certification to safely operate any assigned powered equipment, including but not limited to: order picker, turret truck, reach truck, powered pallet jack and sit-down forklift
• Basic math skills
• Good communication skills
• Required to speak, read, write and comprehend the English language

 

Essential Functions:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is:

  • regularly required to talk or hear; sit, stand or walk; use fingers, hands, arms and feet to feel, handle, grip, grasp, lift, operate, push and pull for up to twelve (12) hours/day
  • able to work safely at high levels, upwards of forty (40) feet
  • able to work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures
  • able to reliably attend work/scheduled hours
  • required to safely operate power industrial equipment as noted above
  • occasionally required to sit; bending, twisting, climb or balance; lift and carry items such as boxes weighing up to fifty (50) pounds; and stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl

 

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
• High School diploma or Equivalent
• Minimum of six (6) months previous experience operating forklifts
• Required to speak, read, write and comprehend the English language
