For which tasks (responsibilities)?

  • Collaborate with the design team to create and refine engaging 3C and Combat Systems.

  • Prototype and implement gameplay mechanics in Unreal Engine 5 using Blueprints.

  • Iterate on designs based on playtesting and feedback for optimal player experience.

  • Create and maintain clear, detailed game design documents with technical specifications.

  • Ensure documentation is current and accessible to the team.

  • Work with other departments to seamlessly integrate 3C and combat mechanics.

  • Participate in team meetings, brainstorms, and design reviews.

  • Conduct playtests to evaluate mechanics and resolve design issues.

  • Adapt designs to technical constraints without compromising gameplay quality.

What kind of professional are we looking for?

  • 3+ years of game design experience.

  • Proficiency with Unreal Engine 4/5, including hands-on experience with Blueprints.

  • Knowledge of Unreal Engine’s animation system, enhanced input, and GAS is a plus.

  • Strong understanding of game design principles, player psychology, and engagement.

  • Experience designing complex 3C and Combat mechanics with intuitive control schemes.

  • Understanding of technical implementation for designed features.

  • Proficiency in rapid prototyping and iterative development within Unreal Engine.

  • Familiarity with Git, Perforce, JIRA, Asana, Confluence, or Notion.

  • Strong communication skills and fluency in English.

  • Ability to collaborate across departments and incorporate feedback effectively.

  • Passion for creating engaging gameplay experiences.

  • Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.

    Nice to have

  • Experience designing 3C systems, combat mechanics, and multiplayer/online games.

  • Participation in a shipped title or completed game project (indie or professional).

  • Bachelor’s degree in Game Design, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).

  • Portfolio with prototypes, design documents, or gameplay videos.

  • Passion for Third-person Action-Adventure games and MMORPGs; awareness of industry trends and player expectations.
