General Sales Manager Opportunity at Gary Yeomans Honda ***MUST HAVE MIN. 3+ YEAR EXPERIENCE AS A GENERAL SALES MANAGER WITH A PROVEN TRACK RECORD OF SUCCESS/RESULTS FOR CONSIDERATION*** We are seeking an energetic and results-driven leader who is passionate about exceeding goals, developing talent, and delivering exceptional guest experience. We are a family-owned dealership in Daytona Beach, operating in a fast-paced and growing industry. As a General Sales Manager, you will play a critical role in shaping our business and enhancing the lives of our team members and customers. Key Responsibilities:

  • Results-driven who is passionate about exceeding goals.
  • Attract, develop, and retain top talent for the dealership.
  • Motivate and engage the team to meet sales targets and performance goals.
  • Assist the Sales Manager with negotiation and financing processes, ensuring customers clearly
  • Oversee the Used Car Sales department, including inventory acquisition, management, merchandising, pricing, and reconditioning.
  • Deliver a world-class customer experience that fosters loyalty and repeat business.
  • Collaborate with the General Manager to plan and manage new and used vehicle inventories.
  • Analyze business performance and implement strategies to drive improvements.
  • Maintain high involvement in day-to-day dealership operations.

Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years of proven success as a General Sales Manager in automotive retail.
  • High school diploma required, college degree preferred.
  • Experience with Reynolds & Reynolds DMS.
  • Strong leadership and financial acumen, with the ability to drive revenue and profitability.
  • Honda experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Organizational and follow-up skills.
  • Proficiency with technology and automotive systems.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (must be 25 years or older for insurance purposes).
Compensation: commissions and bonuses (D.O.E.), ranging from $120,000 to $400,000 per year.
