Salary: $88,000 - 128,000 per year Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Data Science, Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics, or Computer Science
• Over 4 years of experience as a data analyst, data scientist, or data engineer
• Proficiency in constructing complex SQL queries
• Strong communication skills to present findings and influence change
• Hands-on experience with data platforms such as Microsoft SQL Server, SAS Fusion, Hadoop, Teradata, Hive, AWS, and Azure
• Familiarity with business intelligence tools such as Power BI, Tableau, and iDashboards
• Preferred: Experience in data storytelling and presenting to Senior Management or Executive Leadership
• Preferred: Certifications like SAS Certification, Teradata Vantage Certification, or Microsoft Certified Professional
• Preferred: Advanced degree in Data Science or Analytics
• Preferred: Experience with GitHub and Agile Methodology

• Assist various teams in transitioning Financial Systems data into ETL or data warehouse platforms
• Develop programs and automated processes for reporting and dashboarding data quality metrics
• Conduct research to devise metrics and analytical methods for data quality, automated testing, and validation processes
• Create advanced techniques for anomaly detection, pattern analysis, change point detection, and threshold measurement
• Perform exploratory data analysis to establish data baselines and thresholds for summary reporting

We are seeking a Senior Data Analyst to join our Data Science Solutions and Strategy (DS3) Team within United Healthcare Controllership. This role, based in Minneapolis, can be fulfilled remotely or on-site, offering flexible hours from 8 AM to 4 PM. Our DS3 team consists of approximately 35 skilled individuals, with a direct team of 5-7 members proficient in big data technologies like Hive, Hadoop, and Teradata, and proficient in programming languages including SAS, SQL, Python, and R. We are dedicated to maintaining high data quality standards while delivering data analysis, metrics, and reports to support key organizational initiatives.
