Description of the Role: Abernathy Home Care is seeking compassionate and dedicated HHA PCA CNA OR HOMEMAKERS to join our team in Reading/North Reading as well as surrounding towns. Description of the role: As a member of Abernathy Home Care, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional care and support to our clients in their homes. Your responsibilities will include assisting with activities of daily living, such as bathing, grooming, and dressing, as well as light housekeeping tasks. You will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the quality of life for our clients and help them maintain their independence. Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, grooming, and dressing
• Perform light housekeeping duties, such as tidying up living areas and doing laundry
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals and help with feeding, if necessary
• Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and pulse
• Administer medications, under the direction and supervision of a healthcare professional
• Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring client safety
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
• Report any changes in client condition to the appropriate supervisor

Requirements:

• Valid certification as an HHA, PCA, CNA, or homemakers
• Prior experience in a similar role is preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions
• Reliable and punctual
