Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from a top-tier law school with outstanding academic achievements (Top 20% of class preferred).
- Active North Carolina Bar Admission.
- 4-6 years of in-depth experience in investment management and fund formation.
- Specialization in private equity, hedge funds, private credit, real estate, hybrid, and alternative investment strategies is highly valued.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills coupled with a proactive, entrepreneurial mindset.
Key Responsibilities:
- Represent a diverse array of funds, including private equity, hedge, private credit, real estate, and other alternative strategy funds.
- Assist with matters involving retail alternative funds such as BDCs, interval funds, and closed-end funds.
- Collaborate within a dynamic, interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality legal solutions.
- Play a crucial role in the firm's growing investment funds practice by engaging directly with clients and supporting business development efforts.
