Salary: $145,000 - 165,000 per year Requirements:

• We seek candidates with a Bachelor’s degree and 12 years of experience in administration and tier 3 operational support for servers, workstations, and applications within a Windows Active Directory environment, or equivalent experience. An active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain DEA suitability is required. Preferred candidates will have knowledge of CommVault backup.

Responsibilities:

• In this role, I will provide administration and tier 3 operational support for servers, workstations, and applications within a Windows Active Directory environment. I will assist users, manage groups, and oversee security access to Active Directory objects, including organizational units. I will support customer Active Directory domains, which entails user account management and Group Policy troubleshooting.
• My responsibilities will also include effectively provisioning, installing/configuring, operating, and maintaining systems hardware and software, along with the related infrastructure. I will uphold security infrastructure by utilizing Group Policy, conducting endpoint scans, and performing vulnerability scanning to enhance our security posture. Additionally, I will recommend, develop, test new technologies, and document solutions for infrastructure projects.
• Administration of a multi-domain Active Directory environment will be part of my duties, including executing Active Directory commands through PowerShell scripting. I will monitor and troubleshoot server status and alerts using System Center Operations Manager, as well as manage Production and Test environment server maintenance, which includes monthly patching and troubleshooting any issues. Furthermore, I will handle Active Directory replication, troubleshoot performance issues, and establish security and remote access policies. I will also configure backup and recovery plans for Windows-based servers using the Windows Server Backup Utility.

The posted salary range for this position is expected to be between $145,000.00 and $165,000.00 per year. However, base pay may vary based on multiple individual factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, education, experience, and internal equity. The total compensation package may include additional elements that will be discussed during the hiring process. If hired, you will hold an at-will position, and GovCIO reserves the right to modify compensation at any time based on individual, departmental, or market performance factors.
