ATC Healthcare Services, LLC of Nassau County is seeking compassionate, caring, and dedicated School Nurses to serve the staffing needs of our schools. ATC Nassau County has an IMMEDIATE NEED for a Registered School Nurse (RN) in Newburgh, NY. For the love of children, advance your career with ATC!

SHIFT: FULL-TIME - M-F 7:30AM-3:30PM

RATE: $45/hr.

LOCATION: NEWBURGH, NY

School Nurse (RN) will be responsible for:

• Professional, medical treatment of students
• Early detection of physical problems and health evaluations
• Disease prevention
• Promoting programs on health-education and immunization
• Maintaining clinical records
• Coordinating vision, hearing, and orthopedic screening and health assessments
• Providing emergency aid to students and school staff
• Assisting teachers in instructing students in health and nutrition education
• Aiding in student transport

School Nurse (RN) Qualifications:

• Active NY State Board Certified Registered Nurse (RN) Licensure
• Resume submissions and ZOOM interviews are required.
• 1-year of RN experience preferred.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• A desire to work with children.
• Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills.
• A Great Team Player
