We have an outstanding Contract position for aProduct Shipping and Receiving Clerkto join a leading Company located in theVista, CAsurrounding area. Pay Rate: $21.67 Job Responsibilities: + Performs a combination of manual and clerical shipping and receiving duties; may work out of a central warehouse. + Uses computer system for tracking, logging, verifying and reporting. Follows shipping practices and procedures, and transportation routing, schedules and requirements. + Receives incoming materials or prepares materials for shipment. + (Un)packs or (un)wraps items such as finished products, raw stock, assemblies, parts, building materials, office supplies, equipment, etc. Verifies quantity, weight, and conformance of materials to stated identifications; logs receipt of items on system, processes freight bills, packing sheets, and other documents; reports materials shipped and bills of lading; posts weight and shipping charges and routes merchandise to destinations. + Performs non-routine tasks which may involve some use of judgment and initiative in the shipping and receiving of materials, supplies and equipment. + Under general supervision, prepares record of goods shipped and received and bill of lading, posts weights and shipping charges and maintains shipping record files. + May operate forklift and prepare goods for final shipment . Under limited supervision. + Receives some instruction on routine work, general instructions on new assignments. + Uses professional concepts to solve a variety of problems. + Works on assignments that are semi-routine in nature where limited judgment is required. Follows standard practices and procedures in analyzing situations or data from which answers can be readily obtained. Basic Hiring Criteria: + High school education or equivalent and 3+ year of related experience. + Forklift experience. + Basic computer skills. Benefits offered vary by contract.
