Job Summary:
SAP NS2 is seeking a Cybersecurity Analyst Intern to join our team. This internship is ideal for college students pursuing a degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related fields who are passionate about protecting systems, data, and networks. You will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in cybersecurity operations, threat analysis, and security compliance in a real-world environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in monitoring and analyzing security events using SIEM tools and other cybersecurity technologies.
  • Support the identification and investigation of potential security incidents, vulnerabilities, and threats.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of security policies, procedures, and best practices
  • Collaborate with the cybersecurity team to support incident response activities, including root cause analysis and reporting.
  • Research and provide recommendations on emerging cybersecurity threats and technologies.
  • Document processes, findings, and resolutions to contribute to team knowledge sharing.

 

Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s program in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of cybersecurity concepts such as threat analysis, vulnerability management, and network security.
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity tools such as SIEM platforms, firewalls, or antivirus software (Splunk experience is a plus).
  • Knowledge of networking protocols, operating systems, and basic scripting (Python, Bash, or PowerShell is a plus).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Excellent writing skills.

 

Preferred Skills:
• Exposure to cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Knowledge of compliance frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, or SOC 2.

Compensation Range Transparency : SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is 15-62 (USD) USD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
