Job Description

Position: Senior Accountant
Our client is a Fortune 500 global advertising, marketing and communications company.
The Company's branded networks and numerous specialty firms provide
advertising, strategic media planning and buying, direct and promotional marketing, public
relations and other specialty communications services to over 5,000 clients in more than 100
countries.
Overview:
The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of corporate accounting experience. A Bachelor's
degree in accounting is required (CPA preferred). Candidate must also demonstrate ability to
work independently, possess strong problem solving abilities, as well as strong written and oral
communication skills. Advanced Excel and analytical skills are a must.
Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare the annual profit plans and quarterly re-forecasts for Corporate entities using
Cognos Planning.
- Review financial results and provide variance analysis.
- Prepare monthly closing journals and accruals/prepaid entries for Corporate
Management and Holding Companies.
- Prepare and review monthly financial statements and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Quarterly group reporting through Hyperion for the Corporate Entities.
- Monitoring of the Company's Corporate inter-company activity and balances.
- Ability to work under pressure in order to meet deadlines.
- Must be a strong team player who creates synergy within the group.
- Assist with staff development and mentoring.
- Special projects and ad hoc reporting.
- Hyperion and Great Plains experience is a must.
Reporting to: Corporate Accounting Manager.

Location: Midtown, NYC

Compensation: 100k-110k plus Bonus and all Benefits

Hybrid schedule: Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday

Salary: $ 10,000.00 11,000.00 Per Year
