About the Team: The Logistics team at ZF Axle Drives in Marysville plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of shipping and receiving processes. Reporting directly to the Logistics Manager, the Shipping & Receiving / Warehouse Supervisor will manage a team of 12 direct reports, which consists of hilo drivers, dispatchers, and dock workers. Their collaborative efforts are essential to maintaining efficiency and meeting production goals.

What you can look forward as a Shipping & Receiving / Warehouse Supervisor:

• Ensure effective employee relations. Provide employee coaching and development. Make employment decisions. Resolve employee issues through problem resolution. 
• Establish and maintain training plans and records for all direct reports. 
• Direct transportation and storage of materials and commodities by developing methods and procedures to support both internal and external customers.
• Maintain open door communication and promote issue free environment. 
• Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends. 
• Complete operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees and following up on work results. 
• Support and participate in both internal and external process auditing activities.
• Maintaining FIFO inventory in an orderly manner. 

Your profile as a Shipping & Receiving / Warehouse Supervisor:

• Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of progressive, related experience. 
• Prior supervisor experience and proficient in Excel and MRP systems (SAP preferred). 
• Experience working with a union workforce preferred.
• Proven ability to balance and achieve positive results in the areas of safety, quality, productivity, cost and employee relations.
