Job Description

The Durable Restoration Company is looking to hire a Skilled Mason who is experienced with historic mortars and has a broad understanding of traditional masonry construction. We are looking for someone who is detail oriented and who has a drive for high quality restoration and preservation. 
 
CORE REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be knowledgeable in best practices and processes commonly used to achieve a quality final product.
• Must be able to contribute to the goal of completing projects on time, and at or under budget.
• Must be reliable with a positive outlook
• Must be able to pass pre-employment and random drug screening
• Must be able and willing to travel as needed for 2  weeks at a time. (Travel expenses and per-diem paid)
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check

• Experience with historic and lime based Mortars
• Knowledge of traditional building techniques
• Ability to work through unexpected problems 
• Ability to work well with others and contribute to a positive worksite
• Knowledge of skills and processes of other traditional trades is a plus
