Steel Estimator

gpac is partnered with an industry leading AISC Fabricator, looking to add to their Steel Estimating Department. Our client company fabricates structural, miscellaneous, and architectural steel for commercial and industrial construction.

Qualifications for Steel Estimator:

* Successfully estimated and won projects in the $5-$10M range
* Experience estimating with Bluebeam & FabSuite
* Knowledge of current AISC codes and standards
* Demonstrated ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction documents
* Ability to calculate costs and prepare estimates
* Proficient in Tekla and Fabtrol

* Advanced Tech Savvy can be considered for remote role but will impact salary

* Excellent organizational and communication skills

Responsibilities of Steel Estimator:

* Prepare and review estimates for accuracy and completeness
* Coordinate and communicate with team members
* Develop and maintain relationships with clients
* Manage and monitor project budgets and schedules
* Monitor and review changes in project scope
* Ensure all materials, labor and equipment costs are accurately included in estimates
* Prepare accurate material take offs
* Assist in developing and implementing cost-effective strategies

Compensation/Benefits:

* $75,000 - $110,000 base salary (DOE)
* Standard Benefits
