The Role:

Junior QA Engineer / Test Engineer

Location: Barcelona, Spain

Here at IGT, we are looking for an expert Test Engineer to join our team in Barcelona, where you will become part of our global business of approximately 10,500 employees!

Responsibilities

You will have the opportunity to write, create and run test cases and analyse and detail the results (both manual and automated)
To verify the software quality during the whole project timeframe.
Work closely with the development team to explain the issues found and ensure these are fixed.
Be a team collaborator to support and improve automated tests!
Suggest product and QA processes improvements
Continue to maintain a high quality product

Qualifications

We would be looking for someone with approximately 1 year of experience in a similar role, preferably within our industry
Ideally you'll have a basic working knowledge of network and IT hardware
Come to us with a "Tester mentality" and the ability to clearly detail any issues found
Knowledge in JIRA, Xray, Confluence and GIT
Previous experience in Linux command line
Good communication and documentation skills in English
Familiarization with Agile methodologies
Ability to create detailed and understandable documentation (bug reports, test plans…)

Nice to have Skills

Basic knowledge of programming languages: Python, Java
