Job Title: Warehouse Receiving Manager Location: Largo, FL Reports To: Operations Manager Employment Type: Full-Time

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Warehouse Receiving Manager to oversee all inbound operations for our drop ship warehouse. This role is critical in ensuring accurate and timely receipt, inspection, and system logging of incoming inventory from multiple vendors. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in warehouse operations, inventory control, and vendor coordination, especially within a drop shipping or high-SKU environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the receipt of incoming goods from vendors, including verifying quantities and quality against purchase orders and packing slips
• Ensure all inventory is accurately logged in the warehouse management system (WMS) in real-time
• Coordinate with suppliers, customer service, and inventory teams to resolve discrepancies or damages quickly
• Responsible for organizing and putting away incoming inventory in designated shelf locations, ensuring efficient use of space and maintaining clear aisle-level inventory accuracy.
• Supervise receiving staff and ensure adherence to safety and quality control protocols
• Implement and maintain receiving checklists and SOPs to streamline vendor deliveries and ensure efficiency
• Track and report KPIs such as receiving accuracy, dock-to-stock time, and vendor compliance
• Collaborate with inventory control and fulfillment teams to optimize space allocation and minimize stock errors
• Conduct periodic audits of received goods and storage processes to ensure compliance and accuracy
• Train and coach warehouse associates on best practices in receiving, sorting, labeling, and putaway

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of warehouse or logistics experience, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory or managerial role
• Strong knowledge of Excel; experience with drop shipping or EDI integrations is a plus
• Proven ability to lead and motivate a small team in a fast-paced, multi-vendor environment
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in a warehouse environment
• Familiarity with OSHA and safety regulations

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous warehouse or fulfillment experience is a plus
• Ability to read and understand SKUs and product labels
• Basic computer skills to use shipping software and printers
• Able to lift up to 40-50 lbs as needed
• Strong attention to detail and a sense of responsibility
• Dependable and punctual

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
